2008/2009 MIT Events
All MITs

·   One-hour online meetings, weekly for year one and at least monthly for year two & beyond (school will pay from MAF grant funds for a year of Centra service, training, and headphones: $200 for continuing MITs, $250 for new MITs.)

·   Monthly posting on the KCM Forum (beginning in July 2008)

·   Kentucky Council of Teachers of Mathematics (KCTM) Annual Conference, Louisville, October 11, 2008

·   Kentucky Teaching and Learning Conference (KTLC), Louisville, March 2009, including MIT pre-conference meeting on Wednesday, 10:00 to 3:00

·   Optional:  US Math Recovery Council (USMRC) membership (required for Math Recovery Specialist Certification).

·   Optional:  National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) membership and conference attendance.
